Ross junior Under 8’s
The under 8’s are children in school year 3 as of September 2011.
There are currently 20+ children training with Ross Under 8’s. Training is Monday 6-7pm at Ross Rowing Club and then in winter it will move up to John Kyrle High School. T
here is a team entered into the Herefordshire Friendly League and another team who play occasional friendly games.
The teams have only been playing together since May as and have done fantastic in summer tournaments, holding their own against far more experienced teams. Three of the boys are now training with Cheltenham Town and the team also boasts four year 2 boys who are playing a year up.
The teams are coached by Paul, Andy and Barry. The boys have kindly been sponsored for rain jackets and a new kit is on its way too. Over the season the team will develop further and the boys will play friendly’s against academy sides before the traditional end of season tour.
