Ross Juniors were formed in 2004 by a group of parents. Initially the club was based at Ross Rowing Club and was fielding 5 sides in the Herefordshire Junior League.
The club has grown massively since then and now stands at over 400 playing members and 23 teams. For the 2010-11 season Ross Juniors fielded a mens team for the first time. In 2011-12 two girls teams were created at Under 10 and 12 level. The 2012-13 season saw 3 mens teams, 15 junior teams and 4 girls teams. In 2012-13 season many of Ross Town's players who moved to Weston Athletic when Town folded are coming back, as Weston Athletic become Ross Juniors mens teams in the Herefordshire League under Dan Morris. For the 2013-14 season the club had 15 junior sides, 3 mens and 5 girls teams. The clubs growth has been recognised with the award of Herefordshire Sports Club of the Year recently being awarded to Ross Juniors.
The club is now fully relocated to Ross Sports Centre where they boast an array of full size, 9 a side and mini soccer pitches alongside social and changing facilities.
The club has won Herefordshire Football Association Chartered Standards Club of the Year in 2008 and 2011. The Herefordshire Junior League have also announced Ross Juniors as the club of the year for 2012-13. Links have been built with local professional clubs with boys training with such clubs as Aston Villa, Cheltenham Town, Bristol City, Cardiff City, WBA Development Centre and Hereford United. 2013-4 has seen a partnership with Nike signed and the club achieve Community Club status. Some club members have also been recognised for giving up their time to volunteering.
Off the pitch, the club has also grown with end of season tours, visits to Premier league games and club social events becoming regular events.
