Based in Ross on Wye, the club, since its formation in June 2004, has gone from strength to strength. We have a very successful playing structure and have recently received the F.A West Midlands Regional Club Award, a stunning achievement as well as receivng several local awards.
We have an ever growing band of dedicated volunteers who provide their time on the committee to ensure that the club is run effectively; the club is now F.A. Chartered Standards recognised and has an ever improving structure. The club also now runs its own tournaments, trips to premiership matches (200 members attending a Villa game in December), internationals and end of season tours 2012 is at Liddington PGL.
We now have mens teams, newly formed girls section and for 2012/13 season the plan to run 19 youth football teams making us one of the larger clubs in Herefordshire.
New ground for Ross Juniors
The club play all home games mini and 9 a side matches at Ross Sports Centre and 11 a side at Ross Rowing Club pitches and run weekly training for all age ranges. From May 2012 all teams will be based at Ross Sports Centre. The club has paid a pivotal role and is a stakeholder members in Ross Sports CIC. This organisation is non profit and is dedicated to improving the sporting facilties in Ross on Wye for all.
The ground which is in a picturesque location by the river and under the steeple of St Marys church, is taking shape and for 2012/13 season we will boast 4 mini soccer pitches, 2 full size, 3 9-a-side plus changing rooms, ample parking and refreshments bar.
